I’m Eric Berry, a Ruby on Rails engineer who has spent more than 16 years building web applications from prototype through production.

This site is my personal blog and playground. I use it to write about the web development patterns I am testing, the tools I am learning, and the career stories worth preserving from older versions of my sites.

I learn best when I am teaching, so the archive here includes both practical technical notes and more personal writing from earlier stages of my career.
